HiScan DOT/RF – The first scanning system that integrates CO₂ fractional laser with a bipolar RF energy source.

The SmartXide Touch generates optimised pulses for multidisciplinary applications, particularly in aesthetic medicine and dermatological surgery.

This is made possible by the development of an RF CO₂ laser source equipped with DEKA’s exclusive proprietary PSD® (Pulse Shape Design) technology, which allows complete control over the duration, energy, and shape of each pulse.

PSD® can modulate the ablation and the coagulation (thermal effect) in freehand and fractional scanning modes:

Ablation: The high peak power delivered in a very short time releases a great amount of energy rapidly and causes immediate ablation of the epidermis and the topmost skin layers, which are less rich in water.

Thermal Effect: Following rapid vaporisation, the CO₂ laser energy is transformed into heat, propagating deep down in the water-rich derma.

The result is an immediate tissue shrinkage and direct stimulation of the cells to produce new collagen.

RADIOFREQUENCY enhances the effects of CO₂ laser treatment by remodelling tissue in-depth, toning flabbiness and stimulating fibroblast activity to produce new collagen.

The HiScan DOT/RF scanning system comes with two special spacers that utilize bipolar RF technology to generate selective heating of derma with a deep and localised action on the skin.

By harnessing the synergy between the CO₂ laser and RF source, the innovative HiScan DOT/RF can selectively target all layers of the skin.

The RF component activates a selective thermal effect within the dermis.

This controlled heat penetration enables deep stimulation of neocollagenesis, resulting in a rejuvenating and tightening effect on the skin.
